633 cases of which have been confirmed so far.

Health Minister Carlos Rotondaro said 514 patients were discharged and 3,347 samples have been processed as part of the actions to prevent propagation.

CARACAS – The Venezuelan government confirmed Friday the nation’s first deaths from swine flu, while the number of reported cases of the contagion rose to 696.

Health Minister Carlos Rotondaro said that the number of deaths from the AH1N1 virus “stands at 17 people,” the official ABN news agency reported....

Caracas, Aug 25 (AFP) - Venezuelan health officials reported deaths of people affected by influenza A rose to 19 in Venezuela, where some 736 people have contracted the H1N1 virus, local media reported today.

Health Minister Carlos Rotondaro, revealed this figure and said that those killed were delayed an average of twelve days to see a doctor, which would have complicated their health cadres, Caracas newspaper reported today Latest News
