Week 16 P&I remains above epidemic threshhold (7.98%) for 13th consecutive week, even though reported cases of influenza have declined sharply.

Two pediatric deaths (MN OK)

P&I graph through week 15 (when rate was 7.79%). Rose in week 16 even though reported cases have been on sharp decline for several weeks. Has been at or above epidemic threshhold for past 13 weeks

Increase in P&I deaths in week 16 is in sharp contrast to lab confirmed flu cases in 201-2011 season
