Health officials estimated that during this weekend was reached to vaccinate against human influenza by nearly 20 percent of the population.

Increase killed by H1N1 virus in Mexico

The Jalisco Secretariat of Health reported a new case in the state of Michaocán, in addition to those who had already registered Chihuahua.

Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua .- The state health authorities confirmed today that there is another victim of human influenza in Ciudad Juárez, two weeks ago was the resurgence of the disease.

Hector Puertas Corners, a spokesman for the Epidemiological Monitoring Medical Committee, said at a news conference that the victim in this case, the fourth confirmed with the disease was a woman aged 78 who died since last March 30, but just this weekend announced that the study he conducted on the samples indicated the presence of H1N1 virus.

Of those confirmed, 21 have been reported by hospitals in the Health Services Chihuahua, 4 hospitals belonging to the Chihuahua Institute of Health, 1 who answered the ISSSTE, 9 by the IMSS and 4 in private practice.

By town, people confirmed H1N1 influenza occurred, 17 in Chihuahua and 22 in Ciudad Juarez.
