http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsg ... ?id=503040KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 (Bernama) -- Six reports of influenza-like illnesses (ILI) clusters were detected in the last 24 hours in four states namely Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Perak and Johor.
Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican said in Negeri Sembilan, two clusters occurred in Kampung Gatco, Jempol and one in Felda Lui Selatan, Jempol; while one each was reported at the Kolej Sains Kesihatan Bersekutu, Sungai Buloh; Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Pui Cheng, Tapah Road and in Jalan Mulia, Kampung Melayu Majidee, Johor.
"There are 64 ILI clusters that are still active throughout the country," he said in a statement, here Wednesday.
Dr Mohd Ismail said to date, a total of 575 ILI cases had been treated nationwide, of which 9.7 per cent or 56 cases were confirmed positive for influenza A(H1N1).
He said currently four H1N1 cases were being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where all the patients had high risk factor.
