A thread on the recently released Egyptian sequences by China's National Labs at Harbin has been started to show bits and pieces of Fujian clade 2.3.2 sequences appended to a Qinghai clade 2.2.1 genetic H5N1 background in Egypt.

These sequences have clear cut examples of recombination which should be the final blow to the WHO/CDC mantra on "random mutations".

I'm sorry, for some reason I'm slow here. I don't quite get why this is so important (ie the jig is up) from this info.

The most dramatic example of recombination is discussed here

http://www.recombinomics.com/News/05071 ... 1_232.html

The isolate was collected in Egypt in 2008 and had a Fujian HA clevage site. The prototype high path cleavage site is RERRRKKR. The Qinghai strain, which is clade 2.2 has changed the first R to a G to produce GERRRKKR. The Fujian strain, which is clade 2.3 has deleted on of the K's to produce RERRRK_R. Thus, the sequence of A/chicken/Egypt/36-4/2008 was of interest because it has a Fujian cleavage site, even though no Fujian sequence had been reported in Egypt, or any country west of China.

However, Fujian sequences were expected because the Fujian strain began flying up the east coast of China in the spring of 2008, leading to a massive outbreak in chickens in South Korea, as well as deaths of whooper swans in Japan, and a poutry outbreak in Primorie in southeastern Russia.

The presence of Fujian H5N1 in whooper swans in Japan suggested that Fujian H5N1 would migrate to Mongolia and Siberia, which was confirmed by sequences of dead wild birds at Uvs lake in mongolia on the border with Siberia.

Thus, migration of Fujian H5N1 into Europe, Middle East, and Africa was expected, but none of these countries reported Fujian H5N1. However, the Egyptian sequences generated by Harbin and being relaeased at Genbank have clear examples of Fujian sequences in Egyptian H5N1, including a stretch of 200 BP in teh isolate with nthe Fujian cleavage site.

WHO and its consultants have been in denial about homologous recombination in influenza. Although recombination is widely accepted in other RNA viruses, including negative sense viruses like Ebola, WHO et al claims that the acquistions are due to random copy errors which cannot be predicted.

As a result they make vaccines against older sequences and the vaccines are constantly chasing the evolution of the virus. This data is important because it is in Egypt, which is clade 2.2. The Fujain sequences show that Fujian H5N1 is circulating in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa unreported (but I suspect the petting zoo outbreak in Israel is Fujian and will be reported).

The H5N1 in Egypt is rapidly evolvining via recombination, and is likely transmitting H2H. Rapidly evolving H5N1 in humans provides an opportunity for dual infections with pandemic H1N1, leading to a more virulent and transmissible virus. H5N1 in Egypt has already been confirmed in donkeys and is likely widespread in mammals, which also support pH1N1.

Recombination remains the name of the game and 1918 H1N1 was a recombinant between human H1N1 and swine H1N1.

This type of mixing and matching is far more common and dangerous than reassortment, which is the focus of WHO and their cronies, who continue to deny recombination, which is hazardous to the world's health.

Harbin is DEFINITELY going for the jugular. They just released A/great crested-grebe/Qinghai/1/2009, which was collected a Qinghai Lake a year ago. Front end is Egyptian, back end is Fujian. My guess is after seeing this they made arrangements to get Egyptian samples to confirm and show recombination in Egypt as well as China.

The random mutation propagandists are definitely in a "Katy bar the door" mode.

Today is the day "random mutation" died!
Better late than never.

If so, congrats. Hopefully the data doesn't get swept under the rug and discredited in favour of the status quo.

No, this is front and center because it is in Egypt. Hong Kong did its best to sweep the earlier China data under the rug. At Options VI in Toronto in 2007, they attacked Harbin, when Harbin wasn't even there. The propagandists have been hard at work for decades, but now the jig is up - there is too much DATA.

Random mutation is DOA.

I am going through human H5N1 cases in Egypt, and they too have polymorphisms that trace back to Fujian, clade 2.3.2. These are being posted here
