Are you awake?

That was the CDC's party line. There is no spread of Tamiflu resistance. We keep seeing H274Y coming up due to de-novo mutation within individuals. The fact that we have several cases clustered together both in time and in relatively close proximity to each other points to nothing we should be concerned about.
Ugghhhh! Actually, I've got "It" again - for the 2nd or 3rd time - the little beastie from which all these discussions thrive

11 year old had it again last week. 5 year old is getting over it now. He crawled in bed a couple nights ago and slept there hacking into my face all night. Head throbbing, throat sore, just waiting on fever / stomach to kick in. This WILL most certainly be the 3rd go around for us. 1st and 3rd had stomach issues. 2nd was more lung. This 3rd one does have more of a "Head/Nasal" component. The 1st and 3rd were more sudden and severe for the kids. I seem to be experiencing milder 3rd so far. The 2nd was LONG and low intensity drawn out miserable. Of course, it's possible one of these is something new - a "B" or something. Again... Ughhhh, I just want it gone. It was intense but passed REALLY fast for kids this time... <18 hours for 11 yr old. <36 for 5 year old (I can hear him happily destroying the house in background now). Of coure I can't resist the opportunity to "blame it all" on the symptom reducing powers of Vitamin D! LOL
Thanks Wotan - for a second I thought I had said something that had really ticked you off! You should have seen the reply I deleted

LOL
