1 death?

The first death from H1N1 virus has been recorded in Algeria, it was learned yesterday from a source close to the health sector. This is one person died in a hospital in Algiers, and autopsy revealed the cause of death is the influenza virus A.

According to our source, the first victim was confirmed last week, but authorities did not want to announce "not to alarm the population." The deceased was not reported to be carrying the virus and only after his death that the reasons thereof have been disclosed. Our source would not elaborate on the case. Hitherto the authorities and doctors have found that the recorded cases have resulted in any severe form nor any deaths
