Today's chart from the Ministry of Health has total deaths at 135 from ILI/ARDS.

Yeah, I saw the number discrepancy, I was wondering if he was stating new cases and deaths today, since the 109 figure is mentioned later.

Actually, I was using the quote from the article to show that WHO assumes that the ARI cases (which are now 3/4 million) are largely H1N1, so citing a handful of confirmed H1N1 cases just shows how little testing is being done.

It is much worse than that. The case number is over 871,000 and almost all Obalst are in RED (exceed pandemic threshhold). Hospitalizations almost 40K.

Does the phrase "too little, too late" come to mind?

I think what I find most concerning is the lack of testing. Only a handful of tests have been done on close to 1,000,000 sick people?

I've heard of instances here in the US where doctors have been told to report all flu as H1N1 and carry on. Has anyone else heard the same? Also, what are the expert opinions on the vaccination for H1N1?

I the US they assume that a flu clinical presentation is a flu case. Testing centers are overwhelmed with samples from hospitalized cases, so mild cases are rarely tested.
There is NO doubt that the VAST majority of ARI cases in Ukraine are H1N1.
