Many diagnosed with H1N1 are receiving the antiviral called Tamiflu, but what doctors are just now starting to realize, is that Tamiflu is having no effect on certain strains of the H1N1 virus.

Experience over 2-3 times the number of days of treatment compared with regular time and had thought at death, Pham Ngoc Thach hospital has successfully conducted two cases A/H1N1 infection can cum heavy, with border distillation pneumonia.

Previously, patients underwent 12 CTH was immediately treated influenza A/H1N1 ineffective. The VMQ patients still positive for influenza A/H1N1 to 22 days after treatment and had computer network at St. patients in the "hanging prevents hair.

However, through the use Ralenza to treatment instead of Tamiflu (flu Ralenza only treatment for severe cases). Latest test results immediately 24/8 that the two patients were negative to H1N1 virus and will discharge in a few days.

Vietnam has reported multiple cases of possible Tamiflu resistance over the last couple of months. Unfortunately they have never (that I am aware of) released any sequences to confirm or deny this. But it certainly seems that it is spreading there.

Is Vietnam a location where Tamiflu resistance in H5N1 been detected?

Although Thailand has reported H274Y in quick PCR testing, the H1N1 data for Vietnam is indirect. There have been no H1N1 sequences from Vietnam (with or without H274Y). H247Y has been lab confirmed in Thailand, Singapore, Hunan, and Hong Kong in Asia.
Vietnam has reported H274Y in H5N1 patients after treatement with Tamiflu, and the adjacent sequences in H5N1 match the adjacent sequences in swine H1N1 (as well as a seasonal flu Brisbane/59 sequence from Indiana, A/Indiana/01/2008).

You've *got* to be kidding. That is totally sad and their loss. I gave a hattip to someone here, I wonder if the same will happen to me.

They  banned you from flutrackers.com? Just for linking to us? I really think that we share a common goal of getting information out about this pandemic. I can't understand why there is enough animosity that they would ban serious, long term posters for providing an informative link...I think everybody on that board should really examine their motives in taking that kind of action. Hey, how do you spell "censorship"?
