AFP - Friday 21 August 2009 An eight-year-old girl has become the first fatality linked to swine flu in New Caledonia, health officials in the French Pacific territory said Wednesday. Le nombre de cas estimés de grippe A (H1N1) en France métropolitaine est monté à environ 4.500 la semaine dernière, avec une augmentation "importante" du nombre d'épisodes de cas groupés.
