24SI - Epidemiologists in Bosnia warned that the dangerous H1N1 virus, or so-called swine flu, if it mutates appear in BiH.

Epidemiologists track his every change after he began to refer their lives in Britain, according to forecasts, proširiće and other European countries.

Mary King, an epidemiologist at the Department of Public Health Federation, said of tomorrow, "the Independent newspaper" that the swine flu last year, was the dominant seasonal influenza virus and that he was in the vaccine.

"The virus is variable, and anything can happen, and if the mutation and its further expansion will not miss us, because it is transmitted through that can not be avoided," said King.

She said that each new mutation of the virus searches for new vaccines, and the epidemiologists, she says, follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), and behave toward them.

The Institute for Public Health said they have sufficient vaccine against swine influenza H1N1, and if there are any requirements will see the immunization.

Milka Mrdja, a spokesman for the Institute, said that in the RS since March this year, when he contracted the disease from one patient was not infected.

"Our epidemiologists to monitor the situation daily and during the vaccination of populations against seasonal flu," she says.

According to her, for now there was no need for this kind of preventive care and advised citizens to take as many vitamins and fluids will, to avoid the closed area and regularly ventilated rooms in which they reside.

The RS has recorded more than 500 patients with swine influenza H1N1, and three of them died, while in FBiH 714 patients diagnosed with influenza type A, and 14 died.

Jan Bar, from the Research Center of WHO, said that the new flu vaccine, because such developments may need to be changed more quickly than expected, since it is possible that a new variant of the virus more dangerous, and that from it can catch and people who have already been vaccinated.

The best prevention is not to approach people who have flu symptoms, regular hand washing with soap or disinfectant gel, and bypass operation, kissing on the cheek and, of course, less to go to large gatherings, cinemas, theaters ...

It should be frequently ventilated rooms, put towels on the mouth when coughing or sneezing, clean locks, telephones, keyboards.
