Two men died in the Clinical Center in Kragujevac, a consequence of the new flu, and suspected that the H1N1 virus cause of death and a woman (40) from Prijepolje, who died in hospital in Uzice!
This number of victims of the virus H1N1 in Serbia officially rose to 11, and one death is still awaiting confirmation. The Clinical Center in Kragujevac deceased are GG (37) and MR (57).
- They were connected to respiratore. MR had a boil on dvanaestopalačnom colon and zapaljenjski process in the neck - said Dr. Andrea Obradovic, a spokesman for the Clinical Center in Kragujevac.
GG deaths (37), according to what is known, had other health problems.
Woman killed in Uzice was diabetic. Mirsad Ljuhar, Director of Home Health in Prijepolje, said that she asked for medical help, and after care with suspicion on the new grip immediately sent to Uzice.
- It is not true that we have a lot of deaths in relation to other countries - says Professor Dr. Branislav Tiodorović, the Working Group for the Defense of the pandemic. - In our epidemiological picture is no worse than in other countries. The new virus, unfortunately, "leaning" most people with metabolic diseases, and most of the deaths in Serbia had a chronic illness, which is further exacerbated by the flu.
And after the news of two, maybe three new deaths due to influenza, epidemiologists, however, claim that the virus subside, mostly in central Serbia. Number of patients currently increases only in Leskovac and Vranje. Prof. Tiodorović explains that in southern Serbia that will be a few days, and then expected "pacification" of the virus.
- There are two assumptions: one is that the pause between this and the new, also mild, the waves will be seven days, but it is not impossible that a new wave starts, but for two or three days - says Tiodorović. - Many people are sensitive to the new grip, they have developed immunity, so the next swing of the virus could arrive quickly and to draw the most sensitive part of the population, namely pre-school children.
Most patients with the new flu is currently being treated in Belgrade and Kragujevac. Infectious clinics at the departments in intensive care units and pediatric clinic in Kragujevac is located 52 people. Six of them in serious condition and three connected to an apparatus for breathing.
- At the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases, Clinical Center of Serbia is currently being treated 54 patients, which was confirmed by a new flu virus - said Monday Drago Jovanovic, a spokesman for CCS. - All patients were mostly good general health, and the two were connected to respiratore.
In Nis on respirators six patients with new gripa.Među them astrophysicist maternal Roma from Vranje. It is the birth on Sunday akušerskoj Gynecology clinic, but the baby died. Analysis showed that the child died was not infected with H1N1 virus and maternal infection has been demonstrated. Low doctors say it is one of six attached to the apparatus for breathing in critical condition
