The USDA has released a series of full sequences from swine isolates from 2010. None of the sequences had H1N1pdm09 MP. However, in 2010 there were 6 human H3N2v cases (up from 2 in 2009), and all 6 had PB1 E618D, which is also in all H1N1pdm09 cases (human and swine).
The first swine isolates with E618D (other than H1N1pdm09) was seen in the first human H3N2v case in the US (A/Kansas/13/2009). All human variant cases in the US since 2009 (19 H3N2v, 1 H1N2v, 1H1N1v) have had PB1 E618D or MP from H1N1pdm09.
None of the recently released swine PB1 2010 isolates have E618D.
The only swine cases with PB1 E618D follow human cases (phylogenetically and in time).
