apparantly (almost) no Chi


Im NRZ Influenza wurden seit Beginn der Saison 2010/11 bisher 538 Influenzaviren angezüchtet und/oder auf ihre antigenen und/oder genetischen Eigenschaften untersucht
Genetische Analysen zeigen eine Ko-Zirkulation verschiedener Gruppen von A(H1N1) 2009 Viren, die in ihrem Antigenprofil jedoch vergleichbar sind.
Die in Deutschland zirkulierenden A(H1N1) 2009-Viren repräsentieren seit einiger Zeit überwiegend eine Gruppe, die durch einen Aminosäureaustausch im Hämagglutinin an Position 185 (S185T) charakterisiert ist. Diese A/England/142/2010-like Viren werden auch in anderen europäischen Ländern vermehrt nachgewiesen.

Lucky for the public that the WHO only issued this weak alert instead a full blown one.

looks to me like chi is reassorted.
Segments 1,2,3,8 from the Mexico-City (Sept.2009) strain
which was also in California Oct.2009-Feb.2010

while segments 4,5,6,7 (or such) seem to come from
another strain. I.e. HA from a A/Germany/AF2207/2010/01/09
like virus.
