The number of unsubtypables continues to increase in state weekly reports. However, the CDC has not included any unsubtypables in its 2010/2011 weekly FluView reports. Its silence on this issue is deafening.

Connecticut lists 2 unsubtypables in the period Aug 29, 2010 - Feb 9, 2011

At the bottom of the pdf, there are 2 ---- 1 in Fairfield and 1 in New Haven

It looks like A "seasonal is a somewhat qualified unknown as in not sub-typed since it has been partially subtyped (it is not pH1N1). It could be seasonal H1N1, H3N2, trH3N2, and just about anything other than pH1N1 (assuming it is not a false negative for pH1N1).

Yes, the number of unsubtypables is on the rise in multiple states, although Pennsylvania is the most dramatic so far (and leads the country in reported fatalities). The CDC has an unsubtypable category for its subtype graph and underlying table, but has not reported any unsubtypable cases for this season, even though FluView is based on reports from the states.

So there is still "regular old" H1N1 around in addition to swine pH1N1? I thought that the "regular old" H1N1 was not around any more.
