With one country acknowledging changes, hopefully WHO will be pressed into making a statement.

FATE. Epidemiology of influenza virus Ministry of Health claim that we become stronger and suffered "small mutations, but the vaccine remains effective and able to protect.

A/H1N1 virus is more virulent compared with seasonal influenza viruses, because they suffered "Small Change". Because of these changes, A/H1N1 no longer attached to the bronchi, but is able to pass directly into the lungs.

"However, if you is not scared. The vaccine is still effective, these "small changes in the virus" does not make it ineffective, "said Amalia epidemiological Canton, director of the Ministry of Health. Such mutations were confirmed in Western countries.

Vaccination prevents virus mutations

Secretary of State Adrian Streinu-Cercel said the fatality rate in influenza A/H1N1 virus in the last six weeks increased from 0.1% to 1.32%. "This means that a Romanian from one hundred may die because of A / H1N1," said the specialist.

The pooled data from MS, rate
deaths caused by influenza virus infection in November of going beyond that of seasonal flu. "In normal flu, the fatality rate was 0.01% -0.1%. In the pandemic has reached 1.32%, "said Streinu-Cercel.

Doctors also claim that the mutations prevent the virus to get our country on a solution would be for people in risk groups should continue to vaccinate. Immunization failing to prevent the virus passes through multiple hosts and thus subject to changes.

"There are nine types of mutations. Some are minor, some are major. If major components of the virus (antigens major type H and N) is changed, the situation will become unmanageable, "warned Geza Molnar, President of the Romanian Society of Epidemiology.

A CFR for general pandemic H1N1 of 1.32% is foreboding. Curious as to what the definitive parameters are being used to come up with the number.

Dr. Niman, is this as alarming as it sounds?

Dont worry everybody

The media is saying Swine flu is over.

''Governments and health chiefs took unprecedented steps to keep the first pandemic for 40 years at bay - but with the swine flu virus now looking to be on its way out, the question on everyone's lips is did we over-react?''

Dr. Niman, is this as alarming as it sounds?

This shows tha D225G/N is the likely caiuse for the increase in fatalities, but the CFR is nothing like 1%. It may be 1% of lab confirmed cases, but there are 100's of thousands or millions of H1N1 infected patients in Romania.
