Niman, I just got access to gisiad yesterday. It is a really nice resource. Is it possible to change your password on there?

PS... Off topic, and I should be kicked for not knowing this, but what is the general concensus on Aspirin / Ibuprofen / Tylenol? Wasn't there one or the other that MIGHT produce worse symptoms in event of cytokine? Naturally not expecting that..... but never hurt to play safe, and I MUST take something, my head is friekin exploding!

The old NSAIDS (COX1 inhibitors) can be dangerous during flu. See this post.

When my son was diagnosed with Swine Flu, his pediatrician said to give Motrin. I gave him Tylenol instead with what I was reading.

CDC just deposited a series of new sequences at GISAID. Several have Tamiflu resistance. On, A/Tennessee/17/2009, is the same two markers as the evolunionarily fit Hong Kong isolate from a San Francisco traveler.
Finding the same markers in Tennessee several months later supports circulation of a Tamiflu resistant swine H1N1.

Morer information is now available on the San Francisco traveler
