This brings the total number of notifications received by the CHP since March 31, 2013, of cases which fulfilled the reporting criteria of suspected human cases of Influenza A (H7) to nine, and the total number of notifications which did not fulfil the reporting criteria to 19.
"Influenza A (H7) is a statutorily notifiable infectious disease in Hong Kong and no confirmed human cases of Influenza A (H7N9) have been recorded so far," a spokesman for the DH stressed.
