Discarded have Ebola UNAM student

There is no case of Ebola in Mexico said Cuitláhuac Ruiz Matus, a spokesman for the theme of this virus and General Director of Epidemiology of the Federal Health Ministry.

This after the Department of Health of Coahuila reported that in the last hours of Wednesday the news spread about an alleged case of Ebola virus infection in a young.

Novatimes news site reported that Jose Antonio Gonzales Figueroa is the first confirmed case of the deadly Ebola virus.

The information was taken up by the newspaper Zócalo Saltillo, Coahuila, and immediately went viral, although almost immediately questions were asked and the news turned out to be false.

According to the newspaper to spread the word, Gonzales Figueroa, of course UNAM student, was hospitalized after going to an emergency room with high fever.

Federal authorities emphasized the falsity of the information; while the Ministry of Health of Coahuila, part of the National Health System, said that "joins the surveillance efforts headed by the federal government."
