MEXICO CITY, Mexico, April. 1 (UPI) - The Mexican state of Puebla, east of the capital, three cases of influenza A H1N1, officials said.

Chedraui Jorge Aguilar, head of the state Health Department confirmed the cases as part of a resurgence of the disease.

"We have three confirmed cases is significantly less than we've had in years past, there is no risk that could generate a critical situation, we are taking preventative measures, " the official told reporters.

As for the human influenza said both Chihuahua and the rest of the country the number of cases is practically negligible, so there is no reason for concern, as 75 patients were reported last week across the country when the pandemic that occurred two years ago were up to two thousand cases a day.

Chihuahua specifically said that in recent days there have been six deaths, four of them confirmed also that there are two seriously ill in hospital.

He added that there has been no new cases and that until last Friday reported 14. Equally have been applied almost 60 thousand shots and enhanced surveillance.

With regard to gastrointestinal problems, warned that the increase is notable for gastroesophageal reflux among Mexicans, especially among those with obesity, resulting in more cases of cancer of the glandular esophagus.

In the same case is generated by chronic alcoholism that liver cirrhosis in men is located on the fourth leading cause of death.

Cordova Villalobos said that this trend is associated with changes in lifestyle of the population and food low in fiber.

El Heraldo de Chihuahua

Chihuahua, Chih .- The Ministry of Health confirmed a new death related to H1N1 influenza, so total 7 cases of death and 25 confirmed with the virus.

As a result, vaccination will be strengthened throughout the state, announced Health Secretary Sergio Piña Marshall, who said that it must strengthen health work so that the new growth will slow as soon as possible and declare the end emergency.

As part of the vaccination campaign against influenza AH1N1que launched the State Government through the Ministry of Health, on Saturday and Sunday 50 seats will be installed in different places like shopping centers, health centers, among others.
