You beat me to it!

I was wondering if the 10 year-old was one of those three deposited from Hunan province. I couldn't find any patient information. A/Hunan Kaifu/SWL4142/2009(H1N1) was actually collected on the 21st.

I've spend the last hour reading article from that same site. Not sure if it's a Chinese version of www.theflucase.com but if there is any credibility to any of it, China is in the midst of a sh*t storm.

I laughed at this one, the article quotes an apparent WHO official in China, that is accusing the Chinese government of not disclosing details of mutations, specifically HA 222 to the general public.

"The Chinese government accused of "concealed"

The Economic Observer newspaper reported that public concern is how the epidemic trend in the end, and a flow of mutation of the virus, but also killed more people?

The morning of November 24, the WHO Representative Office in China Chen Weiyun press officer confirmed to the media, "Mainland China is indeed there have been cases of a current mutation of the virus." Chen also revealed that 6,7 months of this year, mainland China has come up two or three variants of influenza A H1N1 influenza virus in cases of this virus and the virus has emerged in Norway the same, but she did not disclose further details.

For the month of the Chinese 6,7 there have been a current virus mutates and the failure to make timely open, WHO (World Health Organization) officials accordingly that the Chinese government on suspicion of "concealed."

China CDC deputy director of the virus, Shu Yuelong, director of the National Influenza Center, explained that: "It is inevitable influenza viruses mutate, and this is caused by influenza virus itself the characteristics of the decision."

The two recent deaths in Norway isolated to the virus, H1N1-HA gene 222 amino acids of the DG mutation. In the past few months, probably more than a dozen countries and regions have isolated a similar virus, including the DG variant (encoded by the encoding glycine-aspartic acid mutation) and the DE variation (by a mutation encoding aspartate encoding glutamic acid).

Mainland China was first in June, from a mild case of the United Kingdom entered into a similar variation of isolated cases of the virus. School of Medicine, Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Center for Disease Control in September from the other cases of hospitalized cases of the virus isolated from a similar variation."

You might be right. Kaifu does have a receptor binding domain chnage S188N, but so do several isolates in the US

Any idea why the two Brownsville39H & 39OS are same collection date and both aged 7? Are these two different samples from the same patient? Twins?

The link Dr. Niman posted is in a foreign language. Also, who knows about this story. Too bad the child died. However, we know really nothing by the story that anyone posted.

Show some absolute proof in English that we can actually decipher from.

Every country has had one of these deaths or more and it is right here in our own backyard, Dr Niman.
