Yeah, if it's reported as flu A, then it's either H3N2 or pH1N1. People are in denial and desparately want this to be a "normal" flu season. I'm glad to see that they are at least willing to close schools; however, closing schools for a couple of days and then bleaching all the doorknobs (as though the building carried the virus) won't do much good.

That does not make sense, H1N1 IS Influenza A virus subtype H1N1. Are they only testing for A and not subtyping then making this statement?
